The Jalu Security Directorate announced on Sunday the distribution of 10,000 liters of fuel from its own supplies to local bakeries in response to a diesel shortage.

Security Director Maj. Gen. Khaled Faraj al-Abbar said he issued instructions to distribute the quantities of fuel, in order to "reduce the burden on citizens and provide them with bread".

The directorate added that its patrols supervised the distribution of fuel.
