18 Benghazi schools equipped to house families displaced by floods

Benghazi's Education Monitor announced the preparation of 18 schools in the city to receive displaced people from areas affected by floods in eastern Libya.

The director of the media office of the monitor, Wissam Al-Ashibi, told the Libyan News Agency (LANA) that the schools were equipped with assistance from charities, volunteers, and the Supreme Committee for Rapid Response, to provide meals, blankets and other assistance.

He explained that the number of displaced so far has reached 522 families, who were directed to schools including  "Cordoba School, Al-Karama, Shahirat Al-Islam, Martyrs of Al-Laithi, and Sayyeda Ruqayya."
