Libyan National Army Commander, Marshal Khalifa Haftar, received French Ambassador Mostafa Mihraje at General Command Headquarters on Sunday.

The General Command's Information Office said that the meeting reviewed the latest developments in the Libyan arena, without specifying any details.

Haftar's meeting with the French ambassador comes four days after the latter's meeting with Presidential Council leader Mohamed Menfi in Tripoli.

That meeting discussed bilateral relations, developments in the Presidential Council's plan to reach the elections and an evaluation of the security and military tracks, according to the council's media office.
