The head of Libya's interim Government of National Unity, Abdulhamid Dabaiba, renewed Libyan support for Turkey in the reconstruction of the areas affected by the earthquake, according to his media office.

Dabaiba's confirmation came during his meeting with the Turkish ambassador to Libya, Kenan Yilmaz, on Tuesday at the Prime Minister's Office in Tripoli.

The media office added that they also discussed a number of files regarding bilateral cooperation and that the Turkish ambassador conveyed President Recep Tayyip Erdogan's congratulations to Dabaiba and the Libyan people on the occasion of the month of Ramadan.
