House of Representatives spokesman Abdullah Bliheg confirmed on Tuesday evening, “the approval of the Libyan intelligence bill by majority,” in addition to 3 other bills.
The House of Representatives held an official session led by First Deputy Speaker Fawzi Al-Nuwairi and Second Deputy Speaker Abdul Hadi Al-Saghir, during which a number of draft laws were discussed, foremost among them was the general budget law.
Bliheg said in a statement that after deliberations, “the draft law on regulating and controlling radiological and nuclear activities was approved by a majority, the commercial activity bill was passed by a majority, and the Libyan intelligence bill was passed by a majority.”
He added that a commercial arbitration bill was passed unanimously.
Bliheg said that the House of Representatives suspended its session until Wednesday, when it will "complete a number of draft laws that have been on the agenda for some time."
