On Monday, the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Local Government for Libya's interim Government of National Unity, Mustafa Salem, inaugurated the new municipal council headquarters in Wazin, which lies between Nalut and the Tunisian border.

This came in the presence of the mayors of the municipalities of Wazin, Nalut, Al Haraba, and Al Hawamid, in addition to notables and sheiks from the municipality of Wazin and heads of security agencies, according to a government statement.

Salem also visited educational institutions and hospitals within the municipality, to check on the progress of projects under the umbrella the government's 'Return to Life' initiative.
