Mangoush meets with foreign ministers of Kuwait and Tunisia in Cairo

The Minister of Foreign Affairs for Libya's interim Government of National Unity, Najla Mangoush, met on Wednesday, with the foreign ministers of Kuwait, Sheikh Salem Abdullah Jaber Al-Sabah and Tunisia, Nabil Ammar, on the sidelines of the 159th session of the Arab League's Council of Ministers in Cairo.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs said on its Facebook page that the Kuwaiti Foreign Minister praised Mangoush's efforts during her presidency of the 158th session of the council, stressing the keenness of the State of Kuwait to support the efforts of her government to establish security and stability in Libya, and to conduct elections as soon as possible.

The Tunisian Ministry of Foreign Affairs added in a statement that Minister Nabil Ammar discussed with Al-Mangoush “strengthening consultation and coordination between the two countries at the bilateral level and within the common spaces of belonging on the most important issues in the region in order to jointly confront the challenges they face.”

The Tunisian Ministry of Foreign Affairs said that Mangoush briefed her counterpart, Nabil Ammar, on developments in Libya, and during the meeting, emphasis was placed on the further development of bilateral relations.

Mangoush handed over the presidency of the council to Egyptian Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry, whose country will chair the 159th session.
