A member of the Fishermen's Syndicate in Sirte, Muhammad Ali Abriqi, announced the provision of aid to 45 fishing boat operators.

The aid provided to them included 22-liter fuel tanks, gloves, lifebuoys, sun protection hats, diving suits, depth finders, GPS devices, and fishing rods, according to Abriqi.

Abriqi also added that nine electric searchlights were provided to be used on boats, as part of "providing the necessary support to fishermen in the city so that they can perform their duties."
