Libyan Arab Armed Forces Commander, Marshal Khalifa Haftar, directed the Reconstruction and Stability Committee to expedite the completion of maintenance work at the University of Benghazi on Thursday.

This came during a field visit conducted by Haftar to supervise the work of the Reconstruction and Stability Committee in charge of maintaining the university, according to a brief statement issued by the General Command's Information Office.

A statement issued by the Reconstruction Committee indicated that Haftar met during the visit with members of the committee, the president of Benghazi University, and a group of faculty members.
