Libya's Ambassador to the European Union, Jalal Al-Ashi, presented his credentials to the President of the European Commission, Ursula von der Leyen, on Thursday.

Al-Ashi said in a tweet: "I was pleased to present my credentials to Ursula van der Leyen, and conveyed to her the greetings of President Mohamed Menfi, his call for more European Union support for the stability of Libya, and conveyed his emphasis on the continuity of the European Union's support for Libya."
