Sirte municipality announced the start of urgent maintenance work at the city's administrative government complex is continuing.

Sirte municipality's media officer explained to Alwasat that the building in downtown consists of five floors and each floor houses three government departments.

Mayor Mukhtar Al-Madani conducted a tour of the complex on Saturday, he was accompanied by Omar Al-Sudani, the director of projects management in the municipality.

This government administrative complex was established in the late seventies. It was damaged by clashes in 2011 and the war to liberate Sirte from ISIS in 2016.
