Government of National Unity Prime Minister Abdulhamid Dabaiba discussed political, economic and security files during a meeting at Carthage Palace with Tunisian President Kais Saied.

During the meeting on Wednesday, Saied stressed the need to boost joint cooperation in order to facilitate the movement of citizens between the two countries and agreed to address any problems that stand in the way of full cooperation.

Dabaiba said that his visit aims to enhance economic, political and security cooperation and discuss a number of agreements that contribute to creating economic cooperation, and facilitate procedures of interest to Libyan citizens and businesses.

Dabaiba was accompanied to the meeting by Libyan Central Bank Governor Siddiq Al-Kabir.
