Parliament and High Council of State members confirmed on Wednesday, that the heads of the two chambers, Aguila Saleh and Khaled Al-Mishri, will meet again on Thursday, in the Kingdom of Morocco, which hosted previous meetings between them.

The expected meeting between Saleh and Al-Mishri in Morocco comes a day before the new Special Representative of the Secretary-General of the United Nations Support Mission in Libya will present his first briefings on the political situation in the country to the UN Security Council.

The meeting also comes at a time when Libya is witnessing a return to a state of political blockage and government division after parliament decided to withdraw confidence from the interim Government of National Unity headed by Abdulhamid Dabaiba and assign a new government headed by Fathi Bashagha. Dabaiba has refused to hand over power before the elections.
