Parliament Speaker Aguila Saleh announced on Tuesday that observations regarding the unified salary bill would be referred to the Legislative and Financial Committees, provided that they respond to parliament before the end of October.
During his speech at Tuesday's session in Benghazi, Saleh said that parliament members focused on the need for the increase in salaries to be accompanied by a similar increase in the salaries of retirees in the same proportion and degree, as well as setting the minimum wage of 1,000 dinars.
Saleh then moved to talk about the internal security draft law and asked to stop the live broadcast of the session.
