A source close to Libya's Presidential Council tells Alwasat that leader Mohamed Menfi will travel to Algeria on Tuesday, for an official visit, at the special invitation of Algerian President Abdelmadjid Tebboune.

In mid-September, the Algerian president invited Menfi to participate in the upcoming Arab summit, scheduled for early November. This came in a message delivered by the Algerian Special Envoy Ibrahim Murad.

The letter also included an affirmation of Algeria's keenness to strengthen bilateral cooperation frameworks between the two countries.

For his part, Menfi welcomed the invitation, expressing the Presidential Council's aspiration for the success of the summit in promoting joint Arab action.
