The General Sanitation Services Company in Sirte launched an expanded cleaning campaign for Sirte's main streets and squares under the auspices of the Municipal Council and the supervision of Mayor Mukhtar Al-Madani.

Al-Madani tells Alwasat that the campaign will continue for several days, during which the city will be cleaned and garbage and dust accumulations will be removed from residential neighborhoods, squares, and main and secondary streets.

The mayor added that the cleaning campaign also includes the cutting and re-decorating of trees in public parks and green areas.
