Government of National Unity Prime Minister Abdulhamid Dabaiba issued a decision to increase handling, storage, and service fees at Libyan ports by 100%.

The decision has been implemented since last Thursday and every ruling that contradicts it has been rescinded, according to the text seen by Alwasat.

There are 14 Libyan ports, according to the Ports and Maritime Transport Authority.

This comes after Dabaiba met with Central Bank Governor Siddiq Al-Kabir, last Wednesday, to discuss declining revenues from telecom and customs.
