A source confirmed to Alwasat on Thursday, the start of seperate meetings held by Turkish officials with Government of National Unity Prime Minister Abdul Hamid Dabaiba and parliament-appointed Prime Minister Fathi Bashagha.
Dabaiba arrived in Turkey from Malta on late Wednesday evening.
Prior to that, Bashagha's media office announced that he had traveled to Ankara at the invitation of Turkish officials to discuss the political track and means of cooperation between the two countries.
The source told Alwasat that Bashagha and Dabaiba stayed in separate hotels and were expecting to be received by President Recep Tayyip Erdogan at a later time after the end of the meetings with Turkish officials.
Dabaiba and Bashagha's visits to Turkey follows security tension and bloody clashes in Tripoli on Friday and Saturday.
The clashes left 32 dead and 159 wounded, according to the Ministry of Health for the Government of National Unity.
