Protestors stormed and set fire to Libyan parliament headquarters in the city of Tobruk on Friday evening, demanding its dissolution.
The protestors called on the Presidential Council to dissolve all of Libya's political bodies and supervise the holding of presidential and parliamentary elections before the end of this year.
This came in a statement read at the parliament building after it was surrounded and tire fires were set.
In addition to the protest at parliament, the city of Tobruk witnessed another gathering in the city's center.
This comes in conjunction with similar protests in the Tripoli, Misrata and Sebha.
