According to the latest official figures issued by the Central Bank of Libya, China topped the list of exporters to Libya, recording a jump of 43% in four years.

China topped the list with a value of 2.6 billion dinars in 2020 compared to 1.2 billion dinars in 2016. Turkey came in second place with 2.3 billion dinars in 2020 compared to 1.2 billion dinars in 2016, according to the Central Bank.

The latest official figures also indicate that the total Libyan imports from Italy fell to 1.4 billion dinars from 1.8 billion dinars in 2016.

According to the official figures, total Libyan imports ammounted to 13.2 billion dinars.
