The Chairman of the Defense and National Security Committee in Libya's House of Representatives, Talal Al-Mihoub, said that the head of the interim government of national unity, Prime Minister Abdulhamid Dabaiba, is trying to evade the designation of a defense minister representing the Libyan National Army's (LNA) General Command.

"What measures have you taken to get the mercenaries out, and why has there not been a clear budget for the General Command?" asked Al-Mihoub at the government hearings before the House of Representatives on Wednesday.

Al-Mihoub also criticized Dabaiba's "attitude towards neighboring countries, accusing them of exporting terrorism," and called on him not to damage relations with them.
