Libyan National Army commander-in-chief, Marshal Khalifa Haftar, met with a delegation of elders from the Werfalla tribe at General Command headquarters in Benghazi.

The delegation praised the efforts of the general leadership by "seeking peace, unifying institutions in the country, and combating terrorism and illegal immigration", according to the general command's statement on Thursday.

Haftar also received this morning the head of Italian intelligence general, discussing the strengthening of relations between the countries and  cooperation in the fight against terrorism and illegal migration.
