The head of Libya's High Council of State, Khalid Al-Mishri and Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu stressed their "identical vision" on the solution for the crisis in Libya on Friday.
This came during a meeting where the two discussed the latest developments in the political situation in Libya and files of mutual interest, with Al-Mishri stressing his "keenness to develop relations in the interests of the two countries," according to a statement.
During the meeting, the parties stressed that "the only way to resolve the crisis in Libya is through a peaceful political path, with all parties sitting at the dialogue table."
On Monday, Al-Mishri met with Turkey's ambassador to Tripoli, who stressed his country's "full support for the legitimate forces in Libya," praising the efforts of the High Council of State "in the face of foreign conspiracies against Libya and its people."
