At least three children were killed and three others were injured in an airstrike that hit a house in the Furnaj area of Libya's capital Tripoli, according to the Health Ministry's Emergency Service.
The Emergency Service said that the airstrike hit a house with a displaced family living in it, killing three little girls and injuring a woman, a man and another child.
The UN-backed government condemned the airstrike, accusing the rival eastern-based army of targeting the civilians, which the eastern-based army denied.
The eastern-based army has been leading a military campaign since early April against the UN-backed government, attempting to take over Tripoli.
The armed conflict has claimed thousands of lives, and also displaced nearly 120,000 civilians away from their homes.
