The Ministry of Health for Libya's interim Government of National Unity announced the resumption of arthroscopic knee surgeries at the Hadba Al-Khadra Hospital in Tripoli, after a hiatus of more than 10 years.

The hospital recorded the success of the first laparoscopic operation on a patient's knee, on Tuesday, the ministry said in a statement.

It added that the respumption came after the hospital administration carried out comprehensive maintenance and received new devices for these type of operations.
