A delegation from the World Health Organization team of experts visited Abu Salim Hospital to see the reality of the emergency and ambulance services provided in a number of medical departments.
The delegation, which represents the regional office of the organization, met with the general director of the hospital, his assistant, and the heads of a number of medical departments to review their needs and priorities.
The group also listened to a number of patients and their companions to understand the reality of the health services provided.
A statement affirmed the World Health Organization's continued support for efforts by Libya's Ministry of Health to enhance the capabilities of medical staff working in emergency departments.
