Libya's National Center for Disease Control announced the registration of one new covid infection and zero deaths during the period from January 16-22.

The center added that 42 samples were examined, resulting in a 2.3% positive rate.

This brings the total number of infections in Libya since March 2020 to 507,159, with the total number of deaths at 6,437.
