Libya's National Center for Disease Control announced the registration of 12 new COVID infections and zero deaths during the period of December 5-12.
The center added that 282 samples were examined, resulting in a 3.54% positive rate.
The center announced in July that it would re-start publishing a daily update of the epidemiological situation in the country after a months-long hiatus.
This brings the total number of infections in Libya since March 2020 to 507,112 with 6,437 deaths.
