The Arabian Gulf Oil Company (AGOCO) announced on Thursday that its technical and engineering team was able to rehabilitate an oil well in the Messla oil field that has been non-operational since 2001.

AGOCO estimates the current production capacity at 1,510 barrels per day.

The company added explained that the process to return the well to operation was carried out "using guided drilling and reentry."
