Libya's National Oil Corporation (NOC) announced on Monday that crude oil production in July amounted to 36.186 million barrels.
Last Wednesday, the NOC announced that crude oil production reached 1.203 thousand barrels per day.
The corporation added that the production of condensate is at 50,000 barrels per day.
Energy Capital & Power, which is focused on investing in Africa, praised the recent recovery of the oil market, attributing it to some marked stability in the political and social environment as the country seeks to expand in the energy sector.
It also pointed to an increase in the trend of international energy players to invest in Libya. In this context, the NOC decided last Sunday to issue tenders for investment in discovered fields to the Libyan private sector, in order to increase oil production in marginal undeveloped fields.
