Misrata International Airport announced that an EgyptAir flight landed on Wednesday after a suspension of more than eight years.

EgyptAir will begin operating regulary scheduled fligh to the city in September, according to an airport statement.

EgyptAir resumed flights to Tripoli after a similar 8 year pause in August 2022.
