Libya's National Oil Corporation (NOC) said that the total amount of natural gas it provides to electric power stations in all parts of the country ranges between 880-920 million cubic feet per day.
It pointed out that the power stations include those connected to the Brega-Benghazi gas line, the Mellitah-Misrata line, the Al-Fargih-Sarir line, and also the Al-Wafaa-Ruwais line, according to data published on Tuesday.
Consumption per station:
75-85 million cubic feet of gas per day to the Sarir power station from Waha Oil Company's Al-Farigh field.
125-160 million cubic feet per day to Ruwais power station via the Al-Wafa-Mellitah gas line
90-100 million cubic feet per day to the Misrata dual power station via the Mellitah-Misrata gas line.
140-160 million cubic feet per day to the Zawiya power station via the Mellitah-Misrata gas line.
80-110 million cubic feet per day to the Zuetina power station via the Brega-Benghazi gas line.
120-140 million cubic feet per day to the North Benghazi station via the Brega-Benghazi gas line.
While the Ubari station is supplied with between 15,000-25,000 barrels of crude oil per day from the Akakus Company's Sharara field.
