The General Electricity Company of Libya (GECOL) announced on Monday evening, that a shipment of equipment for the new Tobruk gas power station project arrived at the Tobruk sea port supplied by the Greek company Metka.

On its Facebook page, the company praised the efforts of the employees of the customs clearance department as equipment arrives.

GECOL added that this comes within the framework of its efforts to complete the remaining units of the Tobruk gas power station project to add new generation capacities that contribute to covering the increasing demand for electricity.
