Zallaf Libya Oil and Gas Exploration and Production Company said on Tuesday that production from its Erawin oil field has reached 92,000 barrels of oil per day, five weeks after its launch. 

The company praised the efforts of all those who contributed to the success of its plan, including contracting companies, operations management, support departments, and all employees of the “Zallaf and Akakus” companies in my field.

On March 29, the Zallaf Libya company began pumping crude from the field in implementation of the National Oil Corporation's (NOC) policy to raise production rates to two million barrels per day.

At the time the NOC expected production rates from the field would reach more than 16,000 barrels per day in the event that all wells and pipelines are ready.
