Libya's parliament-appointed prime minister, Fathi Bashagha, has sent the draft of the 2023 general budget law to Parliament Speaker Aguila Saleh for review, according to an announcement by the Government of National Stability.
Bashagha asked Saleh to review the draft budget, which amounted to 57.53 billion dinars and present it to the parliament for approval.
During a session held in Sirte, in mid-June, parliament unanimously approved the state’s general budget law of 2022, for the Bashagha government, with a value of 89.69 billion dinars.
