Tunisian Prime Minister Najla Bouden confirmed that she had agreed during her meeting with Government of National Unity Prime Minister Abdulhamid Dabaiba and his accompanying delegation, to facilitate the flow of goods and the movement of travelers at the border crossings between the two countries.

Bouden said during a joint press conference on Wednesday evening in Tunis that they agreed during their meeting with Dabaiba and his accompanying delegation to strengthen relations between the two countries, enhance trade exchange, facilitate movement procedures for goods and individuals in both directions, and support all aspects of economic cooperation between the two countries.

She added that the high-level talks held today at the headquarters of the Tunisian government also reviewed ways to activate joint cooperation between the two countries and Tunisia's contribution to infrastructure and reconstruction projects in Libya, noting that there are many Tunisian companies that are currently operating in Libya.

During her speech, Bouden reiterated that Tunisia stands by the Libyans in pushing for a "Libyan-Libyan dialogue away from foreign interference in a way that preserves Libya's sovereignty and stability."
