According to Tunisian media sources, a group of about 70 people of European nationalities entered Libya on Monday throught the Dehiba-Wazen border crossing as part of sponsored tour.
The group was drove into the country from Tunisia due to a lack of direct flights since 2014 after the EU placed a ban on Libyan flights. This trip comes after Tunisia reopened its border crossing with Libya last month after a Covid-19 lockdown.
According to the Fitch Risk/Reward Tourism Index Libya ranks last as a destination in the Arab world.
