US President Donald Trump has warned that continued foreign interference in Libya will worsen the situation.

In a phone call to his Turkish counterpart, Recep Tayyip Erdogan, Trump discussed the Libyan and Syrian crises, as he stressed that "the continued foreign interference in Libya will only make the situation worse", according to the AFP.

Trump called on Russia to "end its support for the atrocities committed by the Syrian regime," expressing the United States' fear of violence in the Idlib region.

Foreign ministers of ten countries and other representatives of international organizations are scheduled to meet on Monday to discuss how to monitor the arms embargo to Libya, as part of the Munich Security Conference discussions, to follow up the implementation of the outputs of the Berlin Conference on the Libyan crisis.
