The House of Representatives approved five measures during its session held in Tobruk on Monday.
Spokesman Abdullah Bliheg, said that the procedures included deeming the municipality of Bent Bayya a disaster area and assigning the Health Committee to follow up on the conditions of the victims at home and abroad.
The Bent Bayya accident occurred on August 1, when a fuel tanker exploded in the municipality in the south, killing about 25 people and injuring more than 70 others.
The third approved measure addressed the Public Prosecutor and regulatory bodies to expedite the transmission of reports to the House of Representatives on the incident.
The four approved measure demanded the National Oil Corporation expedite the South Refinery project and spatial development projects.
The four approved measure amended the “Investment Portfolio Owners Law No. 25 of 2013.”
