Nada Al-Farsi's father accuses Saddam Haftar of being behind her kidnapping

The Al-Farsi family in Benghazi confirmed the kidnapping of their daughter Nada, accusing the commander of Tariq bin Ziyad brigade, Colonel Saddam Haftar, son of Marshal Khalifa Haftar, of being behind the kidnapping.

Nada is the sister of blogger and activist Nadine Al-Farsi.

Nadine Al-Farsia said in a Facebook post that her sister was kidnapped from their grandfather's house 3 days ago, along with her two children, one of whom is 20 days old.

She added, "the health condition of my sister, Nada, is very bad".

Activists on Facebook circulated a video of a video call that Nada made with her family, and saying she was in an unknown place against her will.

Nada's father, Saeed Al-Farsi, held a number of people are under the command of Saddam Haftar responsible for the kidnapping.

He added that his daughter has been married for two years and was not active in politics or social media. 

He considered the motive behind the kidnapping was his daughter "Nadine is a well-known activist on Facebook and her critical posts have a lot of followers."

Saeed Al-Farsi appealed to international organizations and the media to cover the case, indicating his intention to go to Tripoli and submit an official report to the Public Prosecutor on the kidnapping.
