The management of Benghazi's Benina International Airport announced on Wednesday the completion of its new passenger terminal, financed by the Bank of Commerce and Development, under a contract concluded with the Transport Authority.

The airport management said in a statement that the terminal will begin operating on Thursday.

The terminal project was approved by Abdullah Al-Thinni's Libyan Interim Government in 2019.
