The first deputy speaker of the House of Representatives, Fawzi Al-Nuawiri, said on Tuesday at the parliament session, that any road map without specifying dates and timings for elections would be “insufficient”, adding that about 2.5 million Libyans want elections.

He continued, "we are at a crossroads and all options are open. The roadmap must work on all tracks simultaneously and put in place security arrangements that include collecting weapons, removing mercenaries and foreign fighters".

Al-Nuawiri said he refused to exchange accusations of treason between representatives, stressing that meetings between Libyan parties are useful and will contribute to resolving the crisis, away from foreign interventions that do not want stability for the state.
