Libya records 563 new Covid-19 infections, 11 deaths in 24 hours

Libya's National Center for Disease Control announced the registration of 563 new Covid-19 infections after testing conducted on Thursday.

In it's daily bulletin released on Friday, the center also noted that there were 1,661 recoveries from the virus and 11 deaths.

This brings the total number of infections in Libya to 349,210 cases, of which 66,649 are still currently active, with a total of 4,860 deaths since the outbreak began in the country during March 2020.

The total number of vaccinated in the country has reached 1,451,660.
