Prime Minister Abdulhamid Dabaiba instructed the Minister of Social Affairs, Wafa Abu Bakr Al-Kilani, to work "seriously" and "quickly" to disburse the allowance for wives and children to those who deserve it.
This came in a letter published by the Prime Minister's Media Office on his Facebook page.
In September, Dabaiba issued a decision allocating 2.25 billion dinars to the Ministry of Social Affairs to distribute to wives and children for the months of July, August, September, October, November and December 2021.
Dabaiba also urged the Minister of Social Affairs to communicate with the Ministry of Finance to put into effect a decision to raise pensions.
On October 10, Dabaiba ordered a raise in security and military pensions to 900 dinars for the retired.
