The General Electricity Company announced that there would be no rolling black outs in the western, southern and eastern parts of its network.

Adding, Monday will be the fourth consecutive day without blackouts.

On July 20, the company’s chairman, Waem Al-Abdali, expected that “rolling blackouts will be permanently canceled in 2022, in the event that no emergency occurs,” stressing that maintenance work and performance of the electrical network are “progressing at a good pace.”

Al-Abdali also expected, in a statement carried by the Libyan News Agency at the time, that the number of blackout hours will decrease “beginning next November,” and that energy production will rise to 7200 megawatts.
