Dabaiba expresses readiness to form joint committees with Greece to discuss maritime borders

The Libya's Government of National Unity, Abdulhamid Dabaiba, stressed "the importance of any agreement that preserves the rights of Libya, Turkey and Greece", expressing his readiness to form joint committees with Greece to discuss the maritime border between the two countries.

"We discussed the opening of the Greek Embassy in Libya, we thanked the prime minister for this and the provision of consular services, the most important of which is the granting of visas from inside Libya. We also discussed cooperation in the field of health, the activation of all agreements in the field of energy, maritime trade and military training especially maritime," Dabaiba said during a joint press conference with Greek Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis.

The Greek prime minister arrived in Tripoli on Tuesday afternoon to discuss bilateral relations between the two countries.
