The Parliament will give confidence to the transitional government headed by Abdulhamid Dabaiba "if it is presented appropriately," said the speaker of the House of Representatives, Aguilah Saleh, stressing that the majority of the 75 members of the Libya Political Dialogue Forum were not elected.

During a press conference with the Moroccan Foreign Minister in Rabat today, Saleh stressed that the call for a confidence session is the prerogative of the presidency of the House of representatives, wishing to give confidence to the government in the House of Representatives and not to resort to the political dialogue forum.

Saleh stressed waiting for a meeting of the House of Representatives in the city of Sirte, to give confidence to the transitional government headed by Abdulhamid Dabaiba.

He added that the city of Sirte is located "in the middle of Libya and free of armed and extremist militias" and is home to the Joint Military Commission (5+5), saying: "We want to give confidence to the government in Sirte but if that falters, the meeting will be in Tobruk".
