Libya's National Center for Disease Control announced the registration of 625 new coronavirus infections after the testing of 2,946 samples on Thursday.

In it's daily bulletin released on Friday, the center also noted that there were 701 recoveries from the virus and 18 deaths.

This brings the total number of infections in Libya to 132,458 cases, of which 10,792 are active, with a total of 2,174 deaths since the outbreak began in the country last March.
