ِEgypt's Sisi and Algeria's Tebboune discuss Libya crisis during phone conversation

Egyptian Presidents Abdel Fattah el-Sisi and Algerian Abdelmadjid Tebboune exchanged visions on the Libyan crisis, as el-Sisi reviewed Egypt's efforts within the framework of the political track.

This came during a telephone call on Thursday, where the two presidents agreed to intensify joint coordination during the coming period in order to return security and stability to Libya, according to the statement by the Egyptian presidency.

El-Sisi congratulated the Algerian president on his recovery from the coronavirus, wishing him "continued health and well-being as well as Algeria and its people, peace and prosperity."

For his part, Tebboune stressed Algeria's pride in the close ties and relations with Egypt and appreciated Egypt's "balanced and wise" interaction to deal with various regional issues, based on its pivotal political weight at the regional and international levels.
