The minister of foreign affairs for Libya's Government of National Accord, Mohammed Siala, called on Russia to "support the exit of foreign fighters" from Libya.
This came during a joint press conference with his Russian counterpart Sergei Lavrov, in Moscow.
Siala is visiting Moscow to discuss the latest political and military situation on the Libyan scene.
Adding in an interview: "We have asked Moscow to support the exit of foreign fighters from Libya and expressed our dissatisfaction with the holding of oil export revenues in a bank account that does not benefit Libyans," the Anadolu news agency reported.
He also noted that "the visit of the Egyptian delegation (to Libya) was long overdue, we would like the Egyptian side to contribute to building confidence between parties," adding "I call on the parties that thought that the solution was a military one in Libya, to recalculate, support a peaceful solution and help with the removal of foreign fighters."
